Bernard is running down the hallway

A few months ago we told you about Bernard, a little boy who has lived with severe contractures in his hips, knees and elbows for several years 🧡 He was unable to stand straight due to his contracture.
Today he is running down the hallway in the burn unit — something that just a short time ago seemed almost impossible.
It is a deeply moving experience to witness. For the first time in years, he is not just standing up, but can run. His tracheostomy still needs to be removed, but Bernard has already been given a new future filled with hope.
