Gilbert Olomi – a nurse at KCMC

Gilbert Olomi is a nurse at KCMC’s Burn unit, where he has worked for the past 6 years. He is happy with his work and he finds taking care of the hospitalized burn patients very meaningful

One of the things that is particularly important to him is that the patients do not experience severe pain and discomfort when taking care of the wounds and when changing the bandages. That is why Gilbert has just started a training course in anaesthesiology, so that he can ensure relevant and effective pain relief for the individual patient when taking care of their burn injuries.
